There is no ‘silver-bullet’ replacement for gas and oil central heating systems and installers will need to be skilled and qualified in a range of technologies to meet the specific needs of a building and its occupants. 

The UK is also gearing up to end the sale of new petrol and diesel vehicles by 2030, fuelling a rapid growth in Electric Vehicles (EVs) and a strong demand for charging infrastructure.

Heat pump training 

Heat pumps have received widespread government support, but there is a severe lack of suitably qualified installers to deliver on ambitious aims to install 600,000 heat pumps a year by 2028.

We deliver LCL Awards ground source heat pump (GSHP) and air source heat pump (ASHP) training courses, which are designed for experienced installers and can be completed in as little as 3 days.

Electric Vehicles

We need to rapidly scale-up charging infrastructure to meet demand, with an estimated 370,000 public charge points and 19 million home charge points required by 2035.
