18th Edition Wiring Regulations Training Courses - 1 Day Update
Update your 18th Edition Wiring Regulations knowledge.
This 1-day training course is designed for practising electricians and domestic electrical installers, gas engineers, kitchen fitters, plumbers and builders who need to update their existing IET Wiring Regulations certification (BS7671) to comply with current standards.
We also offer a more comprehensive 3-day 18th Edition Wiring Regulations training course for first time candidates.
Course information
All new electrical installations are required to comply with the 18th Edition of the IET Wiring Regulations. These regulations are recognised by the British Standards Institute as a British Standard (BS7671). This 18th Edition Wiring Regulations course ensures you are up to date with the latest industry regulation on wiring systems.
This qualification may be required for operatives wishing to join the ECS Card Scheme, some Electrical Registration Bodies, Competent Person Schemes (CPS) or the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS).
The course is classroom-based; there is no practical element. Our expert trainers will guide your learning in an informal and lively environment and will be on-hand to answer questions and help you prepare for the assessment.
You will complete a 2-hour online exam which consists of 60 multiple choice questions. The exam is ‘open book’ which means you can refer to your 18th Edition book throughout.
On completion of this course, you will receive City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate.
