Working At Height Course Information

This is a one-day programme developed for solar PV installers working on domestic or low-angle commercial roofs.

The course covers critical topics. They include fall protection, safety harnesses, fall arrest systems, ladder safety, scaffolding, edge protection, and handling roofing structures. You will also gain practical skills in harness fitting, using energy-absorbing lanyards, and safe ladder climbing.

FAQs

  • Participants must be in good physical condition.
  • Participants should bring all personal protective equipment (PPE) issued by their employer for working at heights (a list of minimum expected equipment can be provided on request).
