Who are our training courses for?

Upon successful completion of our courses, candidates will achieve the relevant industry-recognised qualification, such as an LCL Awards Level 3 Certificate or the City & Guilds 18th Edition qualification, depending on the programme undertaken.

As these are advanced, trade-focused courses designed to upskill qualified professionals into renewable and low-carbon technologies, specific entry requirements apply:

  • Solar PV, Battery Storage and EV Charge Point Installation – Candidates must hold a Level 3 Award in the Requirements for BS 7671 (18th Edition). In addition, learners must hold a minimum NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent), as these courses are designed for qualified electricians expanding into renewable energy systems.
  • City & Guilds 18th Edition (BS 7671) – This course is intended for practising electricians and those working within the electrical industry who require an up-to-date understanding of the current Wiring Regulations.

Our course content is developed specifically for experienced tradespeople who are looking to enhance their skills, remain compliant with industry standards, and confidently deliver Solar PV, Battery Storage, and EV charging installations in line with current regulations.
