We designed this 3-day solar thermal training course for experienced domestic heating installers or plumbers wanting to up-skill. The course includes the installation and maintenance of solar thermal heating systems and joining MCS.
Our Solar Thermal course delivers the knowledge and skills required to design, install, commission, and maintain solar thermal systems.
During the course, you will receive practical training, including work on:

At the end of the 3-days, you will undertake a practical, observed assignment and multiple-choice, open-book theory assessment.
On completion of this course, candidates will receive an LCL Awards Level 3 Certificate. A qualification recognised by the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS).
To enrol on this domestic solar thermal installation course, you need to hold certificates for Level 2/3 SVQ or NVQ in plumbing, heating/ventilation gas or oil, plus the following qualifications:
