OFTEC 102 - Commissioning & Servicing of Appliances
Learn about vaporising oil appliances and expand into the oil maintenance sector.
This 1-day training course covers the requirements of OFTEC 10-102 Domestic Commissioning and Servicing of Vaporising Appliances, ideal for experienced oil technicians, or plumbers who want to maintain and service oil appliances, such as AGAs and Rayburns.
This oil maintenance training course is designed to provide operatives with a thorough understanding of up-to-date regulations and correct procedures for commissioning/servicing vaporising oil appliances, in accordance with OFT10-102.
During the course, you will receive practical training, including work on:
- Purpose-built oil heating rigs; and
- Live equipment within a fully functioning plant room.
You will also cover theory relating to health & safety, industry regulations and best-practice.
At the end of your training, you will be assessed by a multiple-choice theory paper, practically assessed worksheets and a hands-on observed assignment.
On completion of this course, you will receive an LCL Awards certificate, which is approved by OFTEC.
