Course information
The Level 2 Principles of Metering for Renewable Heat Installations (Heat Metering) course delivers the knowledge and understanding of the requirements for metering renewable heat installations, including how to select, position, install and commission heat meters and components.
Training is classroom-based. Our expert trainers will help you learn in an informal and engaging environment. At the end of the final day, there will be an assessment.
On completion of this course, candidates will receive an LCL Awards Level 2 certificate in the Principles of Metering for Renewable Heat Installations.

Pre-requisites:
There are no formal prerequisites for this course, but you should as a minimum:
- be working in the renewable heating sector;
- have a basic understanding of relevant legislation; and
- have a sound knowledge and understanding of common renewable wet heating and hot water technologies and systems.
The course consists of 1 day in-centre training.
Successful candidates will receive their LCL Awards certificate approximately four to six weeks following completion of the course.
