On Tuesday 2nd August, GTEC will be showcasing fully functioning solar photovoltaic (pv), electric vehicle (ev) charging and energy battery systems at its partner and leading electrical wholesaler, City Electrical Factors (CEF), based in Skipton. Providing a great opportunity for electricians in the area to view the latest in renewable electricity generation and storage, there will be special offers available for GTEC’s training courses booked on the day.
Alongside GTEC, Automated Calibration Services (ACS) will be calibrating electrical test equipment and Dewalt will have its latest range of power tools available to view and purchase.
With ‘hands on’ solar pv, ev charging and battery rigs on display, electricians will have the opportunity to view how they work and speak to experts from GTEC about the technology and/or related training courses. In addition to solar pv, electrical energy storage systems and electric vehicle charge point installation, GTEC also delivers a range of other renewable qualifications, including heat pumps, solar thermal and biomass.
Be part of the future
Renewable electricity generation and storage is an important part of the future of power generation as we move away from fossil fuels and towards Net Zero.
