GTEC, Electrical & Renewables Training, West Midlands

GTEC West Midlands is based at Telford College. GTEC, supported by battery supplier and manufacturer, AceOn Group, has helped set-up a specialist new centre for Electrical Energy Storage Systems (battery storage) at the college.

Storage of power generated by renewable systems, such as solar PV, is key to the long-term roll-out of renewables.

GTEC’s centre at Telford College is one of the first locations where electricians and electrical installers can learn about this important technology.
