GTEC will be showcasing all things electric at a number of ELEX shows this year, next up is Harrogate on 27th & 28th April 2023!
We will have a stand where you can come and talk to members of the GTEC team our range of renewable’s training, including solar photovoltaics and battery storage; two complimentary technologies that present an exciting growth market for electricians.
GTEC will also be contributing to the shows’ seminar programme with a presentation on ‘Home Electricity Generation & Storage’, delivered by expert trainer, Philip Long.
GTEC’s session will look at the rapidly expanding Solar PV market, spurred on by consumers looking for ways to reduce their energy bills and reliance on fluctuating grid prices. When combined with a battery, PV becomes even more attractive, allowing the majority of power to be used in-situ.
Even a battery on its own can offer cost-saving benefits, with savvy end-users able to store power when tariffs are at their cheapest, for use at more expensive times.
Philip will explain the opportunities presented by home electricity generation and storage and highlight best practice/common pitfalls for electricians moving into this area.
Sponsored by the IET, Elex helps keep electricians up-to-date with the latest technical updates and new rules and regulations. Each show has an extensive seminar schedule, packed with practical information and guidance.
All sessions are presented by leading industry experts and explore key issues facing electricians.
The free technical seminars are accredited for Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
