The latest edition of the LCL Awards took place at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole on 26 June 2025. The awards highlight the achievements of LCL-approved centres and highlight their work in the building services engineering training sector.
After it was shortlisted for the innovation award last year, GTEC Training applied for 4 awards, these were: the innovation award, the electrical centre award, the green centre award, and the inclusivity award.
A Triumphant Night For GTEC Training
GTEC Training, a leader in building services engineering renewables energy training, won the Green Centre and Inclusivity Awards. Speaking at the event, Griff Thomas, GTEC's MD, said: “It is an honour for us to see our hard work recognised. We are proud to see our commitment to training the next generation of renewable energy installers Solar PV and Air Source Heat Pump installers pay off.”
Judges on the panel were extremely impressed by the hard work the company put in and its commitment to supporting candidates attending its courses.
